Does anyone have any ideas for some sort of Community Outreach activity this year? Something similar/or completely different from what Stephanie Sauer did last year. We could do something monthly/twice a year/Christmastime/same organization/different organizations, etc. Brenda Schlickbernd said that she would have some interest, but I think she wanted a direction to go with it. Has anyone worked with any Charities that they liked in particular? I know Deanna mentioned Feed My Starving Children. I'm just looking for ideas on what may benefit our moms/and the organization the best. Should we have moms bring in donations like last year/or give them an opportunity to volunteer for something/monetary donations, etc?
Any suggestions?

Local childrens authors
What do you ladies think if we had a local author come to our MOPPETS during the year? I have found a website that showcases local childrens authors and most of them will come and do an interactive presentation with the kids. Here is the link if you are interested in checking it out:

Meeting with Sara and Lynn
I had a great meeting with Sara VanHeel (Childrens Ministries) and Lynn Gerhard (Womens Ministries) today. We went through a lot of information. As I organize it all, I will post some updates.
